The Lake Turquoise Crescent Home is a sanctuary nestled at the top of a 9-meter slope, offering breathtaking views of a lush wetland. The design of the home was informed by the natural context of the site, with the goal of seamlessly integrating the structure into the landscape while maximizing the wetland views and natural sunlight.

Large windows and sliding doors in key areas such as the sun room, living area, and main bedroom were used to frame the natural beauty and allow for ample sunlight to fill the space. The open plan layout of the kitchen, dining, and living areas emphasizes a sense of connectivity, while an exposed timber truss system highlights the hierarchy of volumes within the home.

The use of warm greys and earth tones in the color palette, textures, and materials were chosen to complement the aesthetic of the surrounding homes in the estate. The design process also involved working closely with the estate's Home Owners' Association to ensure that the design met the high standards and unified aesthetic of the community. A focus on minimalist living and sustainability was also incorporated into the design, resulting in a practical and modern home that embodies the client's vision of a dream space.
