Cafe design: This bespoke, free standing product-display unit was designed in response to a problem presented to Studio Collective by the client. We workshopped the challenges and requirements in collaboration with the client in order to clearly define a concise brief. The outcome was a custom suited design which considered sale methods, customer experience and the brand’s identity.

Lightweight steel tubing forms the frame for the unit. The carefully considered square steel mesh was selected as the infill material in order to achieve a design that was rustic, light, transparent and practical. The mesh forms the attachment support for the adjustable dark timber shelving system. The adjustable nature of the design allows varied display arrangements.

An industrial material and colour palette was chosen to reflect the identity of the brand and the existing spatial context.
